A Free Seminar on the Mental GameDear [Tennis Director], Would your members benefit from learning more about the mental game of tennis? After doing some clinics and teaching the mental game at the Palisades Tennis Club in Newport Beach, CA, I have found that there is a huge interest in the mental game. This seminar would benefit you and your club financially, as well as giving your members an important opportunity to learn about cutting edge ideas and techniques. This seminar would be about 1 hour to 1-½ hrs or longer depending on the Q & A at the end. At the seminar, I would be making my book Tennis: Play the Mental Game available for sale. The book sells for $14.95 and the proceeds would be split so that your club will benefit financially as well as increase the knowledge of your members as to how to play the mental game. This free seminar would show your members another way of playing that will lead to improvement, enhance their interest in playing, and ultimately increase their enjoyment of the sport. Then, if any of the audience would like to actually experience on the court what the mental game is all about, I can offer them a paid clinic which I call the "Secrets of the Mental Game Fun Shop. When I do this hands on clinic, all that would be required is a reserved time at your club about one to two weeks after my scheduled seminar and two courts side by side for 3-½ hrs.
